KidCommerce is a curriculum and technology company, not a bank. Here's exactly how we're structured, what we do and don't have access to, and what happens to your family's data and money at every step.
Being clear about the boundary is the whole point — it's how we can focus entirely on the learning experience.
Real accounts are opened directly by parents at licensed institutions. We never sit in the middle of that relationship.
We follow verified-parental-consent requirements before we ever collect information about a child.
Before any information about your child is collected, you see a clear, standalone notice explaining exactly what's collected and why — and you must actively consent.
Review what's been collected, request deletion, or revoke consent entirely, anytime — not just at signup.
If you verify with a government ID, the image is deleted immediately after verification — we retain only the confirmation result.
Retention should come from value, not from making it painful to leave — so that's how we built it.
Savings, brokerage, IRA, 529, and insurance accounts are unaffected by your subscription status. Canceling KidCommerce never touches your family's actual money.
KA$H and Koins stay in your account for 90 days after cancellation. Koins expire after that, but KA$H is preserved indefinitely and restored in full if you resubscribe.
Sean can walk you through anything on this page.
